Prop 19

Match.
Set on Fire.
In this life we cant get non higher.
These politics levy way for the heretics and liars.
Dark room glazed,
hazed over
never realizing thats these days are finally over.
Know who you cling to,

In Flight

You are far more than the woman you see in the mirror.Simply more than a 9-5.EXTRAORDINARY. Unfazed by obstacles, perpetual is your drive. Your aura of invincibility, your spirit of strong will, your disposition of I Will. You glow in your passions, passionate in your pursuits. You are everything I aspire to be and everything that will always
be.

Kosher

"We fight every night, now that's not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you're ten."

He is overly demanding of your time and must be the center of your attention
He is always right, has to win or be in charge. He always justifies his actions so he can be “right” by blaming you or others.
Tells you you’re crazy or stupid so the blame is turned on you. Tries to make you think that it’s your fault he is the way he is
His mood switches from aggressive to apologetic and loving after the outburst has occurred.
Punishes you by playing the "silent game"
Does not acknowledge his faults or blames it on his childhood or outside circumstances.

Chaff & Grain

Oh, the comfort - the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a
person - having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring
them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain
that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth
keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.

Without Jah

This is awful. I'm sorry but when you see how the women are being treated in the Middle East, our "war on terror" is more than justified. The men treat their women like property. They keep them covered not because they love them and want to protect them but because it means they have the power and the control. Forcing a woman to live under such harsh conditions (flogged 200 times for having an "affair,") being raped and then accused of having an affair, being sold to your husband at the age of 1 and consummating the marriage by age 9, being told not to speak in public, and wearing a full head veil at ALL times are all ways of keeping the women down. When you treat someone like property and less than second class their whole lives they themselves will believe it and accept their lives as it is. That is exactly what the Muslim men want. They want the power and control. Now we have American Muslims fighting to have Shria Law here in the US so that their wives cannot divorce them. It is awful

This image provided by Time magazine shows the cover of the Aug. 9, 2010 issue, with a photo of Aisha, an 18-year-old Afghan woman. Aisha's nose and ears were cut off in 2009, under orders from a local Taliban commander acting as a judge, as punishment for fleeing her husband's home.

This is not a battle between the United States of
America and terrorism, but between the free and democratic world and
terrorism.

Ho lasciato il mio cuore in Italia

I found more photos from my trip to Italy in 2008.
I miss it so much

Beat SwapMeet

Made my way down to Chinatown Los Angeles this Sunday with my friend DJ Kalamari. The most cultured experience I have felt in a long time. We took the train from Long Beach, met a guy who insisted I take on a passion for racing and cycling. After he left us, Mother Theresa made her way into the hearts of the few that wanted her help.BTW Free Medical Assistance at the Forum in LA on the 27th!

"Digging culture"
There is nothing more beautiful than witnessing people at the peak of their passion.Watching these kids digg for that "rare" beat, is like watching a kid in a candy store, better yet me at a Hair Convention.
The vibe was real and relaxed. The colors and the art was raw. I loved every moment even tho I know nothing about being a DJ.

Bought some "Butter" and hopped back on the metro to Little Tokyo where the Cherry Blossom Festival was going on. Experienced some wonderful Curry Chicken at Green Bamboo. He took me out of my comfort zone with that!
Walked a block over to witness Graff artists working on a big wall piece,AMAZING.

I had an amazing Sunday,I feel so content and in love with art.

LA ART

So I look forward to spending more time with Arie and experiencing LA Through his eyes.

Melissa Sweet

This is the dress I would wear. Very modern but Id make it very bohemian. I fell in love with the clean collar and the embroidery.Of course I don't plan to get married anytime soon...My hair needs to be down to my boobs. But I came across this dress and wanted to have it on file!
